NDT in Aerospace will take place Virtually, October 6-8, 2020
NDT In Aerospace 2020 will be held as a virtual conference October 6-8, 2020. While we recognize that the face-to-face meeting is ideal for sharing research, ideas and networking in the industry, the challenges posed by COVID-19 makes this virtual format the best opportunity for the NDT Community to meet and share information. Removing the barriers to traditional attendance--including travel costs, health concerns, time out of the office; this virtual format will allow greater participation for the non-destructive testing community. We are excited to share this new format with you to accomplish our mission of helping our NDT professionals and their organizations.

Why add “Virtual Attendance”?
Recognizing that some attendees (domestic and international) might have difficulty attending NDT in Aerospace 2020 in person, adding the option of a Virtual Attendance will enable greater participation from our NDT community and create opportunities to attract presenters and participants from outside the typical aerospace community.
What elements & benefits will the Virtual Attendance include?
Virtual Attendance will feature most of the elements of the face-to-face NDT in Aerospace 2020 Symposium, including:
How will I network virtually?
Networking opportunities with other attendees, groups, our sponsors and exhibitors will also be made available to all Onsite and Virtual Attendees thru our App.
NDT in Aerospace will take place in Williamsburg, VA, USA, October 6-8, 2020
Non-Destructive Testing and Evaluation (NDT&E) is one of the major requirements in aerospace structural design. Appropriate use of NDT guarantees safety in aerospace and is thus a subject of highest attention. The Symposium on NDT in Aerospace has been established in 2008 and is organized on an annual basis to allow face-to-face conversations on the latest R&D achievements and to discuss advanced and improved methods between scientists, researchers, and industry professionals. Since 2010, the symposium always takes place at a location where aerospace has a home.
Around 200 participants from twenty countries are expected to attend this event, which will include over 100 technical presentations. During the symposium an exhibition of NDT materials and equipment will take place, followed by industrial visits.
